We’re cranking up the volume, having a cheeky celebratory G&T and basically feeling jolly well excited to share the news that Cro Cro Land Music Festival is returning next year. Or should that be ‘Cro Cro Cro Land’? Because we’re back bigger, louder, and with a twist, on the weekend of Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April 2027…
No, the dates aren’t a typo (or indeed the title). We’re increasing from two days to three because, quite frankly, there are just too many bands we want to book for two days.
We are introducing a special Friday evening preview show, kicking off at 6pm across two stages, plus a few extra surprises for music fans. Watch this space!

Buzz for Cro Cro has been building over the years and we’ve been inundated with artist submissions wanting to play. In fact, we had to pause the entry form as we’ve had almost 10,000 artists apply. We listen to all submissions, so we just need to catch up and shortlist.
But never fear. If you want to apply to play, we have reopened submissions for a limited time. If you wish to apply, you can do so here.
As for tickets, we will be offering early bird tickets again for a limited time only. Sign up to our mailing list to get first dibs on discounted entry.
New to Cro Cro Land and not sure what it’s all about, but don’t want to admit that you’re late to the party? Here’s a little lowdown on past line-ups.

Nova Twins
Mercury Prize-shortlisted and two-time BRIT Award-nominated Nova Twins have become one of the UK’s most celebrated alternative acts. They’ve played major stages including Glastonbury, toured with Foo Fighters and Muse, won multiple industry awards and, in 2026, took home the MOBO Award for Best Alternative Music Act. They played our inaugural 2019 festival.
Billie Nomates
She has performed at Glastonbury, collaborated with Sleaford Mods and released three critically acclaimed albums through Geoff Barrow’s Invada Records, building a formidable reputation for her fiercely independent take on post-punk. She performed on our Town Square stage at last year’s festival.

Left: The Subways in 2024 (by Jon Mo). Right: ARXX in 2025 (by Jamie MacMillian)
The Subways
Celebrating more than 20 years together, The Subways broke through after winning Glastonbury’s unsigned competition and went on to become an internationally recognised indie-rock band, touring all over the world. Their anthem “Rock & Roll Queen” achieved Gold status in the US (it was on the Rimmel London ad – remember that? Get the London look. Yes, Croydon’s own Kate Moss was in that one). They were at Stanley Arts in 2024, headlining our Sunday line-up.
ARXX
Brighton duo ARXX have established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting alternative acts, with support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and KEXP. They’ve played over 100 shows, toured with artists including YUNGBLUD, MUNA and Fletcher, joined Gibson’s Artist Spotlight programme, and had original music featured in the BBC series Riot Women. The duo have played twice at Cro Cro Land – in 2019 and 2025.

Left: Native James in 2025. Right: Big Joanie in 2025 (both by Jamie MacMillian)
Native James
MOBO-nominated Native James is one of the UK’s most exciting genre-defying artists, fusing grime, punk, metal and hip-hop. Since playing Cro Cro Land, he’s performed at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Download and 2000 Trees, supported Enter Shikari, Don Broco and Nova Twins, and signed to SharpTone Records. He was at Cro Cro Land last year on our Concrete Playground stage.
Big Joanie
MOBO-nominated punk band Big Joanie have performed multiple times at Glastonbury, toured with St Vincent, IDLES and Bikini Kill, and earned acclaim from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and BBC 6 Music. Their album ‘Back Home’ was named among Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Albums of 2022. They also headlined last year’s Sunday line-up at Stanley Arts.
So many bands have played for us in the past. It’s too many to feature, but here are a few more names: The Lovely Eggs, Grandma’s House, She Drew The Gun, Loose Articles, Blood Red Shoes, Mattiel, LIINES, Currls, Jemma Freeman & The Cosmic Something, Goat Girl, Benefits, Scrounge, Mini Series, Kat Five, Whitelands, Desperate Journalist, Gen & The Degenerates, Buzzard, Buzzard, Buzzard… And even more.
In short, we bring you a festival with the best bands from across the UK, both established and just breaking; all on your doorstep and at a low ticket price.
Line-up details, as always, are kept top secret, to be revealed bit by bit each month, so make sure you keep an eye on our socials, join our mailing list and get a ticket as soon as you can… We can’t wait to see you there next April.
